stdlib_linalg_state (module)#

Provides a state/error handling derived type for advanced error handling of BLAS/LAPACK based linear algebra procedures. All procedures are pure. (Specification: stdlib_linalg) Version: experimental

A fixed-storage state variable for error handling of linear algebra routines

Version: experimental

Error state handling: if the user requested the error state variable on output, just return it to the user. Otherwise, halt the program on error.

Version: experimental

Interfaces for comparison operators of error states with integer flags

Variables

LINALG_SUCCESSinteger(kind=ilp), parameter, Default = STDLIB_SUCCESS

State return types for linear algebra

LINALG_VALUE_ERRORinteger(kind=ilp), parameter, Default = STDLIB_VALUE_ERROR
LINALG_ERRORinteger(kind=ilp), parameter, Default = STDLIB_LINALG_ERROR
LINALG_INTERNAL_ERRORinteger(kind=ilp), parameter, Default = STDLIB_INTERNAL_ERROR

Types

linalg_state_type (type)#

linalg_state_type (type)

linalg_state_type defines a state return type for a linear algebra routine. State contains a status flag, a comment, and a procedure specifier that can be used to mark where the error happened

Procedures:

Procedures

state_message (function)#

pure function state_message(this) -> msg

Formatted message

Arguments:
thisclass(linalg_state_type), intent(in)
Returns:
msgcharacter(len=:), allocatable

linalg_error_handling (subroutine)#

pure subroutine linalg_error_handling(ierr, ierr_out, where_at)

Flow control: on output flag present, return it; otherwise, halt on error If where_at is provided, update the error location before returning/stopping

Arguments:
ierrtype(linalg_state_type), intent(in)
ierr_outtype(linalg_state_type), intent(out), optional
where_atcharacter(len=*), intent(in), optional
